Bart Station– A 23-year-old visitor from the East Coast had just gotten money from an ATM when he told his friend on a cell phone that he had a bad feeling about two men approaching him at the Fruitvale BART Station in Oakland.

His worst fears were realized when one suspect, Victor Veliz, 18, held a folding knife with a 5-inch blade to his neck and the other, Christopher Gonzalez, 18, threatened to shoot him Thursday night, authorities said.

In a blind panic, he lashed out at his attackers, grabbing the knife from one of them and punching the other as his friend listened in horror on the phone.

Without realizing it, authorities say, the man stabbed Gonzalez in the chest. Gonzalez stumbled to his family’s home around the corner, collapsed into his father’s arms and died.

Veliz, who is affiliated with a gang, was arrested at Gonzalez’s home after police allegedly found him with the East Coast visitor’s cell phone. He will be charged with murder in the death of his accomplice, along with a robbery count, prosecutors said.

The robbery victim suffered only cuts in fighting off his assailants. He ran from the station, flagged down an Oakland police officer on Fruitvale Avenue and turned over the bloody knife. His name was not released.

Is it just me, or does anyone else find it amazing that during the mad cow epidemic our government could track a single cow, born in Canada almost three years ago, right to the stall where she slept in the state of Washington? And, they tracked her calves to heir stalls. But they are unable to locate 11 million illegal aliens wandering around our country.

Maybe we should give each of them a cow.

They keep talking about drafting a Constitution for Iraq . Why don’t we just give them ours? It was written by a lot of really smart guys, it has worked for over 200 years, and we’re not using it anymore.

The real reason that we can’t have the Ten Commandments posted in a courthouse is this:

You cannot post “Thou Shalt Not Steal,” “Thou Shalt Not Commit Adultery,” and “Thou Shall Not Lie” in a building full of lawyers, judges and politicians…It creates a hostile work environment

The Plan

Now this has been incorrectly attributed to Robin Williams, the fact is the no one really knows who wrote this, except for the last statement, which is a genuine Robin Williams quote.  Bottom line is, doesn’t matter who came up with it, the sentiment is excellent!!

The Plan

‘I see a lot of people yelling for peace but I have not heard of a plan for peace. So, here’s one plan.’

  • ‘The US will apologize to the world for our ‘interference’ in their affairs, past & present. You know, Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin, Tojo, Noriega, Milosevic, Hussein, and the rest of those ‘good ‘ole’ boys’, we will never ‘interfere’ again.
  • We will withdraw our troops from all over the world, starting with Germany , South Korea , the Middle East , and the Philippines They don’t want us there. We would station troops at our borders. No one allowed sneaking through holes in the fence.
  • All illegal aliens have 90 days to get their affairs together and leave.  We’ll give them a free trip home. After 90 days the remainder will be gathered up and deported immediately, regardless of whom or where they are. They’re illegal!!! France will welcome them. Read the rest of this entry

New Stock Market Terms

New York Stock Exchange, New York City.

Has anyone besides me noticed that the stock market doesn’t like Obama or his Administration?? The market is down 25% since he won the election and every time he opens his mouth it seems to sink to a new low.

As someone who used to be an active daytrader (currently I am not trading as just about the only way to make money in this market is to bet that stock is going lower, shorting). In any event for those of you that follow the market I would like to take a moment to share with you some new stock market terms, lingo if you will.

CEO – Chief Embezzlement Officer.

CFO – Corporate Fraud Officer.

BULL MARKET – A random market movement causing an investor to mistake himself for a financial genius.

BEAR MARKET – A 6 to 18 month period when the kids get no allowance, the wife gets no jewelry, and the husband gets no sex.

Maxine on Minorities

Maxine on Minorities

Maxine on Minorities

We need to show more sympathy for these people.

-They travel miles in the heat.
-They risk their lives crossing a border.
-They don’t get paid enough wages.
-They do jobs that others won’t do or are afraid to do.
-They live in crowded conditions among a people who speak a different language.
-They rarely see their families, and they face adversity all day ~ every day

I’m not talking about illegal Mexicans ~ I’m talking about our troops!

Doesn’t it seem strange that many Democrats and Republicans are willing to lavish all kinds of social benefits on illegals, but don’t support our troops, and are even threatening to defund them?

If you agree, share this so everyone knows!

Bush and The Border Patrol Agents

During his last month in office Pres. Bush commuted the 10 year prison sentences of border patrol agents Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean. While I am extremely happy for them and their families this situation still needs to be corrected. They should not have needed their sentences commuted, they should have been exonerated, as they were merely doing a job that they are paid to do.

They were accused of shooting admitted drug smuggler Osvaldo Aldrete Davila in the ass as he fled across the Rio Grande , away from an abandoned van load of marijuana. The border agents argued during their trials that they believed the smuggler was armed and that they shot him in self defense. What a weak defense, I mean really, what reasonable man would think that an illegal who just snuck across our border with a van full of weed would be armed??

The prosecutor in the case said there was no evidence linking the smuggler to the van of marijuana. (I guess we are supposed to believe that there just happened to be a abandoned van full of marijuana there in the dessert and the suspect just happened to be near it.) The prosecutor also said the border agents didn’t report the shooting and tampered with evidence by picking up several spent shell casings. You know I am really trying to see the prosecutor point of view here but I can quite get my head up my ass that far.

It’s time for a serious wake-up call! The political system is corrupt and broken. It’s up to all of us to try and fix it.

Remember, it starts at the bottom not the top. The more pressure we put on our local reps. The quicker it will move up to the federal level.

By Charlie Reese

Politicians are the only people in the world who create problems and then campaign against them.

Have you ever wondered why, if both the Democrats and the Republicans are against deficits, WHY do we have deficits?

Have you ever wondered why, if all the politicians are against inflation and high taxes, WHY do we have inflation and high taxes?

You and I don’t propose a federal budget. The president does.

You and I don’t have the Constitutional authority to vote on appropriations. The House of Representatives does.

You and I don’t write the tax code, Congress does.

You and I don’t set fiscal policy, Congress does.

You and I don’t control monetary policy, the Federal Reserve Bank does.
