susan_roesgenAmerican citizens, both young and old furious over Barack Obama’s economic plans took to the streets yesterday in what they’re calling “Tea Party” protests. That is, of course, an allusion to the Boston Tea Party, a protest that helped spark the Revolutionary War. While outrageous spending is what sparked the Tea Parties, the concern at the heart of most protesters is that the government is NOT listening to them. Not listening to them in regards to taxes, securing the Mexican border, term limits for Congress. Protesters carrying signs saying, ” I had a 401k now I have change”, “Born Free,Taxed to Death”, ” We Came Unarmed,THIS TIME” and ” We are not your ATM” just to sight a few.

CNN sent reporter Susan Roesgen to a Chicago “tea party,” and the results were inflammatory. First Ms. Roesgen went up against a man who labeled President Obama a “fascist,” . Roesgen then approached another protester, who was not pleased with the Administration and its policies . Roesgen, after interviewing these two protesters threw her hands up and described the protesters as “anti-government” and “anti-CNN” because the protests have been “promoted by the right-wing conservative network Fox.”

Protesters attending the rallies have been labeled “right wing extremists” . Is it extreme to want our borders secured? Is it extreme to NOT want our great grandchildren taxed to death?? Isn’t it amazing how when CNN and the left wing nut cases where criticizing Bush we were all told that dissent was the highest form of patriotism??

obamasauntZeituni Onyango, aunt to President Barack Obama will be permitted to stay in the United States until at least next year as she awaits a chance to make her case before an immigration judge in her bid for asylum from her native Kenya.

On Wednesday a judge scheduled a hearing for Feb. 4, 2010 to hear Zeituni Onyango’s case.

Onyango did not speak after her initial appearance in U.S. Immigration Court in Boston. At the request of her attorney, the hearing was closed to the media at the request of her attorney.

Onyango, moved to the United States in 2000. Her first attempt at asylum was rejected, and an immigration judge ordered her deported in 2004. She continues to live in public housing in Boston at the tax payer’s expense. One has to assume that this is only one expense that the American public is bearing for this illegal immigrant. After all if she is living in public housing one has to wonder if she is also on food stamps, fuel assistance or Medicare.

Tiller the Baby Killer

tiller1

For years and years pro-choicers have argued that the fetus is not a child. Some have even contended that a fetus is just a mere parasite living off of its mother’s body. What was often called into question was the fetus’ viability or, in other words, the ability to sustain its life outside the womb. Argue what you wish, for or against abortion but when a viable infant is subjected to having surgical scissors stuck into the back of its neck and a suction catheter is inserted to literally suck the infants brain out…….well this writer just has to call it what it is… murder. Sadly, Kansas jurors did not see it that way.

Dr Tiller of Kansas very aproposly named “Tiller the baby killer” has been providing late term abortions in the state of Kansas for virtually any reason… providing his client could pay the required fee of $5,000.00.

On Friday March 26,2009, Dr Tiller was acquitted of 19 misdemeanor charges against him, charges that stemming from abortions he performed at his Wichita clinic in 2003. The charges alleged that Tiller was violating Kansas law requiring an independent second opinion for the procedure. The keyword being independent. Prosecutors had alleged that a doctor he used for second opinions, Dr. Ann Kristin Neuhaus, was essentially an employee of his and not independent as state law requires.

scales-of-justiceAt the end of February I told you about Army officer, First Lt. Michael Behenna facing a murder charge and being prosecuted by the very country he has offered himself to protect and uphold. Behanna was found guilty and sentenced to 25 years.

Now it turns out that it’s highly likely that the prosecution withheld key evidence that could have exonerated Behenna and to make matters worse they are denying him a retrial that very likely could prove him not guilty of murder. Behenna claimed self-defense from the start and a prosecutor’s witness, a world renowned forensic specialist, was prepared to offer proof of Behenna’s story but was not allowed to because that wasn’t what the prosecution wanted anyone to hear. They wanted him found guilty.

Yes, the government asks our soldiers to serve and protect and even give their lives and what does our government do in return? Prosecute, persecute and lie when they do their jobs!

A military judge Friday refused to throw out Army Lt. Michael C. Behenna’s murder conviction despite an 11th-hour claim by the prosecution’s own forensic expert that the infantry officer is likely innocent.

On Feb. 27, a military court found Behenna guilty of murdering al-Qaida operative Ali Mansur Mohammed in Iraq on May 16, 2008 during a field interrogation. Behenna, 25, an infantry platoon leader in the 101st Airborne Division, maintains the shooting was in self-defense.

The seven-member panel that convicted the young officer rejected that claim, but new information indicates the court may not have heard the whole story. On the day the verdict came down, the government’s own forensics expert, Dr. Herbert L. MacDonell, told Army prosecutor Capt. Meghan M. Poirier that he had changed his mind and now believes Behenna killed Ali Mansur in self-defense.

With this Change, There is No Hope

Obama wants a “path to citizenship” for all law abiding illegals.

First and foremost one has to chuckle at the absurdity of this statement. How can one possibly be a law abiding illegal immigrant? Doesn’t the President realize that there IS a path to citizenship that already exists??? If this comes to pass, tell me where is the incentive for anyone, from anywhere to migrate here legally??

Yet again Barak INSANE Obama is rewarding bad behavior.

Mr Hussien Obama should pay more attention to what our government is supposed to do vs. what he “feels” we should do. By this, I mean our government is supposed to protect our sovereignty NOT mandate that our middle school children preform 50 hours per year of community service and our high schoolers’ mandated to preform 100 hours per year of community service.

Note: This bill, being called Generations Invigorating Volunteerism and Education Act, passed the house yesterday.

here-it-comesFannie Mae, following AIG’s suit is now planing to give bonuses to top execs despite doing an abysmal job.

Fannie Mae, in an effort to keep hundreds of employees from leaving the government-controlled company, is planing to pay retention bonuses at a minimum of at least 1 million dollars to four “key” executives.

Freddie Mac is also planing disbursing similar awards but has yet to report which executive will be the recipients.

These two companies hold or back more than 50% of the mortgages in this country. Now for the kicker, these two companies requested a grand total of 60 billion dollars in federal assistance to keep them solvent. With Freddie Mac requesting 45 billion dollars and Fannie Mae requesting 15 billion.

It is outrageous enough that the very people who drove these companies into the ground are still even employed at their respective companies but now to reward them for preforming poorly is pure lunacy. I for one do not buy the statements made that these bonuses are contracts and must be honored. Congress just gave judges the authority to essentially re-write mortgages, decreasing not only the interest charged on the loan but the ability to decrease the actual principal amount. Now I ask you is a mortgage note a contract or is in not??

Hey Soldier, Pay Your Own Medical Bills!

Our government will bail you out with taxpayer money if you brought more house than you could afford and are now facing foreclosure. Our government will bail out your business that is failing due to poor management, excessive bonuses and a poor business model. Our government is even trying to ensure that illegal immigrants and their children have health insurance benefits.

Now, this same government that his handing out taxpayer money hand over fist, taxpayer money that has not actually yet been collected but rather will be collected from future generations, is now contemplating having military personnel injured while on duty pay their own medical bills. Eric Shinseki,Veterans Affairs Secretary confirmed Tuesday that the Obama administration is considering a controversial plan to make veterans pay for treatment of service-related injuries with private insurance. Lawmakers told the administration that it would be “dead on arrival” if sent to Congress.

NC Judge Oversteps His Bounds

A North Carolina judge has over stepped his bounds. Judge Ned Mangum of Wake County, NC has order the three children of Venessa Mills back into the public school system after stating her four years of homeschooling needs to be “challenged.”

Challenged despite that fact that her children’s education has been accelerated by teaching at home, with her children testing two grade levels above and beyond their peers.

“I thought Ms. Mills had done a good job [in homeschooling],” he said. “It was great for them to have that access, and [I had] no problems with homeschooling. I said public schooling would be a good complement.”

The judge said the husband has not been supportive of his wife’s homeschooling, and “it accomplished its purposes. It now was appropriate to have them back in public school.” Mangum said he made the determination on his guiding principle, “What’s in the best interest of the minor children,” and conceded it was putting his judgment in place of the mother’s. And he said that while he expressed his opinion from the bench in the court hearing, the final written order had not yet been signed.

It should also be noted that Judge Mangum is also the judge presiding over Mrs. Mills divorce case. This judge has no right to “put his judgment in place of the mother’s” given that her children are thriving by being home-schooled. This judge is way out of line, just another fine example of the judiciary system run amuck.

A spokesman for the family, Adam Cothes,  said the children routinely had been testing at up to two years above their grade level, were involved in swim team and other activities and events outside their home and had taken leadership roles in history club events. This ruling has not yet been signed but rather was handed down from the bench and it simply can not be allowed to stand.

651,000 Jobs Cut in FEB — Reid, Pelosi, Obama  &  Chamber of Commerce Insist on Importing More Foreign Workers

By Roy Beck

Another month has passed. Another half-million (or more) jobs have been lost. And our federal leaders continue to do nothing about auto-pilot programs that are flooding our country with foreign workers.

Nothing has changed since last year when 138,000 new foreign workers were added to the U.S. each month on average.

Here are the latest government facts that can’t seem to soften the hardened hearts of our leaders . . . .

  • The official unemployment rate has soared to 8.1% (highest since 1983)
  • U.S. employers cut 651,000 jobs in February -That is on top of 655,000 jobs lost in January and 681,000 jobs cut in December.
  • 4.4 million — Total jobs eliminated since the recession began in December of 2007.

The number of Americans reeling from the bad job market is staggering:

  • 12.5 million Americans are actively looking for a job and cannot find even part-time employment.
  • Another 8.6 million Americans want a full-time job and have been forced to work part-time.

Today the House approved a bill (234-191) that would give bankruptcy judged authority to dictate, I mean change, the terms of the loan for home owners that are under water or upside down on their mortgages.

Simply stated, it means the borrower owes more on his home than what the current market value of the home is.

Bankruptcy judges will have the ability (assuming it passes the Senate) to wipe out the portion of the debt that is under water. For instance, if John Smith took out a 200,000 mortgage to by his home in 2005, but current market conditions now dictate that the homes value is now 140,000 the judge can adjust the mortgage, payments and interest, to reflect the current market value of 140,000.

First let me say to the 92% of Americans that pay their mortgages on time and bought homes they could afford, sorry suckers you should have have purchased bigger homes in more affluent areas.

This is wrong on so many levels I can hardly determine where to begin. First and foremost judges are just that…judges. They are not accountants, bankers or realtors. The banks that hold these mortgages can’t not realize these losses.
